Congressman Max Miller Announces Winner of 2026 Congressional Art Competition

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Max Miller (OH-07) announced Amelia Waibel, an 11th-grade student at Buckeye Local High School, as the winner of the 2026 Congressional Art Competition for Ohio’s 7th District. Her piece “Nowhere Girl” depicts a girl with reflecting eyes all around her.  

Waibel’s art will be displayed for one year at the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C. alongside winners from congressional districts across the country.   

Natasha Rehlender, a 12th grader from Padua Franciscan High School, won the People’s Choice Award with her piece “Mirror.”
