WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Max Miller (OH-07) released the following statement regarding the passage of various bills related to China:

“The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is the most significant threat to America’s national security and core values—like freedom. With the CCP threat on the rise, the Biden-Harris administration has weakened our standing on the world stage, emboldened our adversaries, and fostered an environment that allows global instability to take root. Confronting the CCP’s destructive influence both in the U.S. and internationally is more critical now than ever. I am glad that the House of Representatives this week made it a priority to counter the CCP and protect American intellectual property, agriculture, innovation, and educational institutions. This is an important step in the right direction.”
