U.S. Congressman Max Miller Visits Businesses and Development Sites in North Olmsted
MEDINA, OHIO – Below are the highlights of U.S. Congressman Max Miller’s (OH-07) day in North Olmsted.
North Olmsted Dispatch Center
- Congressman Miller visited the North Olmsted Dispatch Center to learn more about the dispatch operations, which were regionalized in 2022 after a vote by the City Council. Fairview Park, North Olmsted, Olmsted Township, and Olmsted Falls use the city’s dispatch center and operations. North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones, Economic Development Director Max Upton, Police Chief Bob Wagner, Fire Chief Edward Schepp, and Director of Public Safety Jennifer Scofield showed the Congressman around the facility.
R.E. Warner & Associates
- Congressman Miller toured the new R.E. Warner & Associates headquarters located in the Great Northern Corporate Center office complex. Formerly in Westlake, R.E. Warner moved to a larger office space in North Olmsted as a result of the company’s rapid growth since 2020. R.E. Warner has been providing engineering, architecture, and surveying services for the design of facilities and infrastructure since 1951. The Congressman had the opportunity to hear from R.E Warner President and CEO Ted Beltavski and Senior Vice President and COO Frank Johnson about the company’s growth in markets like the manufacturing sector and metals industry. North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones, Economic Development Director Max Upton, and R.E. Warner Market Director Jen Kalin also attended the tour.
Driving Tour of the New Pre-K – 5 Elementary School Site
- Congressman Miller visited the site of the Pre-K – 5 Elementary School, which broke ground this fall. The school, which is set to complete construction during the 2026 – 2027 school year, will welcome students from preschool through 5th grade and will replace four current elementary schools. Although there was not much to see yet at the site, the Congressman learned about the plan for the future school and how it will benefit the community. Giving the Congressman the tour was North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones, Economic Development Director Max Upton, North Olmsted City Schools Superintendent Chris Caleris, and Communications Coordinator Amy Rutledge.
