U.S. Congressman Max Miller Visits Businesses in Brunswick

MEDINA, OHIO – Today, U.S. Congressman Max Miller (OH-07) visited four businesses in Brunswick, Ohio, and met with employees who are helping the companies thrive. Brunswick City Community and Economic Development Director Grant Aungst joined the Congressman for the visits. Below are some of the highlights.

Engelke Construction Solutions 

  • Congressman Miller and Director Aungst visited Engelke Construction Solutions, which offers end-to-end construction services for industries such as retail, government, and hospitality. The Congressman and Director Aungst spoke with Engelke owners Eric Engelke and Jim MacLellan about the company’s specializations in pre-construction services, construction management, design-build, and facility management. Engelke employs more than 250 people company-wide, including 80 people at its Brunswick office. 

Market 42 

  • Congressman Miller and Director Aungst toured Market 42, a public market, dining, and entertainment facility set to open soon. Owner Nick Kyriazis showed the Congressman the multi-million-dollar project that will create more than 100 jobs. The project spans roughly 26,000 square feet, including indoor and outdoor event space. Market 42 will be home to 14 retail food stalls, 11 restaurants, a beer garden, and a seasonal farmers market. 

RAM USA 

  • Congressman Miller and Director Aungst stopped by RAM USA, a multidisciplinary firm specializing in services ranging from consulting to engineering. Congressman Miller met with RAM USA President Jeff Cacioppo and learned more about the company’s award-winning work, which includes roof and building enclosure consulting. RAM USA, which was established in 2009, employs more than 30 people, including 20 in Brunswick. 

Inflatable Images 

  • Congressman Miller and Director Aungst toured the Inflatable Images facility in Brunswick. Inflatable Images, which opened in 1982, is the largest custom cold-air inflatable manufacturer in the United States. The Congressman met with owners Bob and David Scherba to hear more about their goal of creating the most high-quality and eye-catching inflatable advertisements to help clients promote their businesses. Inflatable Images partners with companies including McDonalds, Nike, Taco Bell, Ford, and Macy’s. Inflatable Images has been featured in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Congressman Max Miller represents Ohio’s Seventh District which includes Medina and Wayne counties as well as parts of Cuyahoga and Holmes counties. Miller serves on the House Agriculture Committee and the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, for which he is also Chairman of the Environment Subcommittee. The Republican freshman members selected Miller as their representative to the Republican Steering Committee.  He is a member of the Republican Study Committee, Main Street Caucus, and the Congressional Jewish Caucus.
