WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Max Miller announced that his office will host a Veterans’ Resource Fair to provide veterans and survivors information on the resources that are available to them. The event will take place this Saturday, September 23, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Solon Community Center, which is located at 35000 Portz Parkway in Solon.

The Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act was signed into law in August of 2022 and provides expanded healthcare benefits to veterans who have suffered from toxic exposures during or since the Vietnam War. The PACT Act created a one-year open enrollment period for veterans who already fall outside of the 10-year expanded window (defined as veterans discharged or released before October 1, 2013) from October 1, 2022, to October 1, 2023.

Individuals with questions should call Congressman Miller’s Washington D.C. office at 202-225-3876 or his Medina district office at 330-661-6654.
