MEDINA, OHIO – U.S. Congressman Max Miller (OH-07) today highlighted milestones that he and his team accomplished in his first 18 months in office. Miller and his staff worked to return millions of dollars that belonged to Ohioans, make federal agencies more efficient, introduce and pass commonsense legislation, and more.

“Making the federal government work better for Ohioans is my top priority in Congress,” said Congressman Miller. “From day one, my team and I hit the ground running to do just that. I’m proud that we have returned millions of dollars from federal agencies that were owed to constituents, connected veterans with the benefits they’ve earned, and brought constituents with passport issues back home.”

“We’ve also made progress on my policy priorities,” the Congressman added.  “Our work in Washington has also been rewarding despite its challenges. On the Agriculture Committee, we’ve worked to advance a Farm Bill that supports our farmers, rural economic development, and affordable food for consumers. In the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, I’ve proudly passed two bills that will improve weather forecasting and lessen America’s dependence on imports of building materials. I’m also advocating for expanded access to career and technical education and much more.”

Congressman Miller concluded, “Serving and representing the people of Ohio’s Seventh Congressional District has been the honor of my lifetime, and I am eager to continue to work hard on their behalf.”

Highlights of Congressman Miller and his Team’s First 18 Months in Congress:

  • returned more than $5,000,000 back to constituents they were owed by federal agencies,
  • closed over 940 constituent cases with federal agencies,
  • participated in more than 750 constituent meetings, events, tours, and visits,
  • participated in 18 town halls,
  • organized more than 450 tours for constituents visiting Washington, D.C.,
