U.S. Congressman Max Miller’s Week in Review
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Below are the highlights of U.S. Congressman Max Miller’s (OH-07) schedule from the week of August 26.
MONDAY, August 26
- Congressman Miller spoke at a memorial service for the thirteen brave Service Members who were killed at Abbey Gate, Kabul Airport on August 26, 2021. Seven Hills Mayor Tony Biasiotta hosted the service. Other participants at the service were State Senator Jerry Cirino, and Joe Burdick, a Navy Veteran and owner of Burdick Custom Flags. Special recognition was given to Navy Corpsman Maxton W. Soviak, a native of Berlin Heights, Ohio. Pictures from the event can be found here.
WEDNESDAY, August 28
- Congressman Miller toured Boundless’s facility in Medina, where the organization provides adult day services and after-school programming. Boundless is Ohio’s largest provider of services such as behavioral health, primary care, and dental care for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health conditions. In Ohio’s Seventh Congressional District, Boundless serves about 400 people and employs another 300. While at the facility, Congressman Miller met and toured with Boundless’s Manager of Advocacy and Government Affairs Anthony Kukura, Chief Strategy Officer Jen Riha, State Director of Community Relations Lauri Livingston-Roberts, and Vice President of Programs Nathan Henninger.
Congressman Miller’s Team represented him at the following meetings and events:
- virtual briefing with the United States Department of Agriculture regarding trends in Ohio’s agriculture industry over the past several years,
- meeting with representatives from Ohio Southwest Economic Development,
- meeting with the Wooster Chamber of Commerce President Samira Zimmerly,
- visit to the Ohio State Stone Lab for the Lake Erie Decision Makers Day, and
- the Wayne County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting.

Miller serves on the House Agriculture Committee and the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, for which he is also Chairman of the Environment Subcommittee.
